These were bottled in limited numbers during 2006-2007. Preludium 02 - The Swedish Oak. Matured in oak casks from the Royal Oak Forest on the island of Visingso in Sweden. Preludium:06 Frisk Svensk rök (Fresh Swedish smoke) showcases the very first release of Mackmyra's Smoke finish. Using Swedish peat and juniper in the smoking process creates a unique smoky flavour never before seen in the whisky world. This profile is more BBQ smoke than grassy peat finish.
